Positions

2019 - Present
Vancery
At Vancery, I helped develop the automated testing of the code base. Before working there, there was little to no code testing whatsoever, so I took on the reponsibility of fleshing out and developing automated browser test scripts using Selenium Web Driver and Node.js, which allowed for more efficient development of the site. Additionally, I updated the company database by scraping various websites for company data and using the Clearbit API with Python and Node.js to retrieve data from companies such as logos. I also developed an algorithm for fuzzy name matching, allowing for improved autocompletion and increased precision. Finally, I helped debug and fix various problems on the frontend in React.js.
2017 - 2019
New York University
In my years of working at New York University, I was heavily involved with the design, development and implementation of many interactive NYU courses, mostly in HTML and CSS, including an Introductory Python course and Papiers-Mâchés, a WordPress French literature site. I also developed and designed the standardized course template that the department uses, allowing for quicker and more efficient development of future courses.
2016
University of Miami
At University of Miami, I assisted a team of graduate students and PhDs in the development of data analysis programs using R. I also helped set up a server to gather and organize data from the NIH (National Institute of Health) database. These were used in the research of the effects of DNA methylation on cancer cells, attempting to pave the way in the quest for a cure for cancer.
2016
ARM Architect P.A.
At ARM Architect P.A., I worked to provide architectural needs of the company, developing and rendering building blueprints using Autodesk Revit. I also visited and inspected material usage and structural design at ongoing construction sites.
2012 - 2015
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (Miami, FL)
I worked with a variety of different departments here, from a sleep lab, to an virtual eLearning lab, and even food service. In my time at the eLearning lab, nicknamed LEMUR (Laboratory of E-Learning and Multimedia Research), I helped develop and design Adobe Captivate modules intended to help elderly and impaired veterans to understand and use computers and the Internet.

About

I am a passionate Full Stack Developer and UI/UX Designer currently working at MissionFocus. I have experience developing the frontend and backend for various applications, and code primarily in Javascript and Python, with a focus on libraries such as Node/Express.js, React.js and Ember.js.

My personal applications are mostly developed using these, with MongoDB as the database. I also have worked extensively in the frontend with WordPress, Bootstrap 4 and HTML5/CSS3, and worked in automated testing with Selenium Webdriver.

I graduated in Spring 2020 from New York University with a B.S. in Computer Science. When not designing web applications, you can find me cooking up new dishes on my Instagram, ranking up in League of Legends, or putting in work at the gym.
